2021 CAL TRI AUSTIN - 4.25.21 will be held deep in the heart of Texas in Pflugerville, approximately 20 miles northeast of downtown Austin. U.S. News & World Report named Austin the No. 1 place to live in the U.S. for 2017 and 2018. The city's official slogan promotes Austin as "The Live Music Capital of the World", a reference to the city's many musicians and live music venues. Whether it is the music, food, or eclectic art scene the Austin area is the place to be.
RACE OPTIONS. 14 unique event options at both the Olympic Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and Sprint Distance (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, Swim Bike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run). There is something for everyone!
RACE COURSE. Lake Pflugerville, a 180-acre reservoir that provides the citizens of Pflugerville with drinking water, serves as the swim venue and race headquarters. The bike course is a rolling, 13-mile loop and the run course is a 3-mile trail around Lake Pflugerville. Sprint athletes complete the bike and run course 1 time versus 2 times for Olympic athletes. This is the same course as the highly-regarded Lake Pflugerville Triathlon.
